Hosted by NAMCC
The best way to get to know each other is to break bread and have a conversation. So pull up a chair.
You're invited to Brisket & Bridges, a free dinner and open house. It's a relaxed evening to meet your Muslim neighbors, share a good meal, and see the mosque for yourself.
Come and go at your own pace. Grab a plate, talk to whoever you like, take a look around, or check out the booths. There's a brisket dinner and salad bar (vegetarian options too), henna, your name in Arabic calligraphy, and plenty of good company. Come as you are, and bring the family.
There's also a short talk about what Muslims believe, but the heart of the night is the conversation. Bring your questions, even the ones you've always wondered about but never asked. No pressure to join anything, just an open, friendly exchange.
You don't need to know a thing about Islam, and you won't be put on the spot. The evening ends as the community gathers for its sunset prayer, which you're welcome to simply watch.
Come for the brisket. Stay for the neighbors.
