Dolphin Play / Open Practice with Paul

An afternoon of connection and fun in warm water: WATSU®, qigong, dance, playing like dolphins. Celebrating World Watsu Week Mar 22-29.

Dolphin Play, 12:30 to 3 pm: Floating each other, exploring movement, playing like dolphins – WATSU®/WaterDance, Aquatic Qigong, Aquatic Ecstatic Dance, Aquatic Contact Improv.

Open Practice, 3 to 5 pm: Practicing WATSU®️ and related Aquatic Bodywork – giving, receiving, or both.

Cost: $40 or Gift Economy

Online Registration

You are welcome to attend either Dolphin Play or Open Practice, or both for the $40 price.

WATSU® is the original nurturing form of aquatic bodywork, involving presence, breath, heart connection, flowing movement, massage, and stillness while being floated in warm water... like returning to the womb... nurtures, relaxes, helps release trauma... brings clarity, joy, and sense of wellbeing.

• Address and Parking: Private residence in Tiburon, address and parking details provided after Online Registration.

Please Be On Time: Dolphin Play 12:30-3pm, optional Open Practice 3-5pm.

• Medical/Special Need: Please let us know if you have any medical condition or special needs that could affect your participation. It is a steep walk, with many stairs from parking to the pool, so please let us know if you have any problems with walking or stairs. We can arrange to have you park at the pool level in case of disability or injury.

• What to Bring: Please bring everything you need for the afternoon: towel, swimsuit, water bottle (unbreakable), snacks if you want.

• Shower: Please shower before arriving or in bathhouse near pool, washing off all body products and scents with soap and water.

• Private Sessions: Private sessions available by appointment on following Mon and Tue: $120 per hour, typical session 1.5 hr $180, or Gift Economy. Tips welcome. Certified Practitioner/Therapist WATSU®, Healing Dance, skilled with WaterDance, Dolphin Dance.

• Illness: Please do not participate if you have been exposed or have symptoms of any contagious disease (cold, flu, COVID…).

Celebrating unconditional giving and receiving, taking turns as Holder, Held, and Helper, exploring basics of WATSU®. With guest instructor Eula Rodriguez. Presenter training for WABA certified Practitioners and Instructors. We need receivers for demos and practice.
