Herbal Smoke Cleansing & Bundle-Making Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to craft their own herbal smoke bundles while exploring the spiritual significance of smoke cleansing. We will discuss the overharvesting of white sage in Southern California and explore alternative plants that can be used sustainably.

You’ll learn how to bundle and dry your herbs, then be guided through an intention setting and smoke cleansing ritual. Making your own tools shifts your practice from consumer to participant, reconnecting to the healer within.

Each person will leave with a handmade herb bundle and a deeper understanding of how to work with and honor plants in their own practice.

Jasmine Ayala is an herbalist, ceremonialist, and healer rooted in curanderismo. Her offerings guide people to reclaim the healer within. Remembering that medicine is not outside of us, but awakens with our connection with self, the land, our lineage, and community. Through ceremony, she creates spaces where the sacred is woven into everyday life and the wisdom of the natural world is honored as teacher.
