okay hear me out β what if we spent a sunday morning hiking through an actual hidden forest in the middle of long beach, did yoga in the grass, and ended with a sound bath because why not make it extra restorative?
this is happening on saturaday, april 4 at 10am at the el dorado nature center (7550 e spring st, long beach).
we'll meet at the entrance, walk over the little wooden bridge, and spend time wandering through 105 acres of trees, lakes, and wildlife. after the hike we'll set up our mats in the picnic area outside for a grounded yoga flow, then lie down for a short sound bath with singing bowls. it's the perfect reset.
this place feels genuinely wild β you'd never guess you were five minutes from the 605. there are turtles. there are herons. there is shade. it's everything.
the vibes:
bring: yoga mat or towel, water, comfortable shoes for dirt trails, sunglasses and/or a hat
a few trail rules to know:
getting there: parking is $8 on sundays (cashless β card/tap to pay). the lot fills up fast, so plan to arrive a little early if you can. carpooling, ridesharing, or taking the bus is always a vibe. pedestrians and cyclists get in free!
all levels welcome. if you can walk a dirt trail and lie on grass, you're good.
see you in the forest β¨
