Hosted by 100 Healthy Women
Your body has been practicing this her whole life.
Every breath.
Every heartbeat.
Every moment your cells quietly exchanged what was needed to keep you alive.
The body already knows how to heal.
This gathering is an invitation to remember that.
Embodied Wisdom: Movement as Medicine & Joyful Liberation is the closing ceremony of the 100 Healthy Women Winter Season
And we are ending the way it was always meant to end.
With breath.
With movement.
With the drum.
A live percussionist will be in the room with us β not as background music, but as medicine.
In the traditions Bobi draws from, rhythm and breath were never separate practices. They were one. The drum responds to what is happening in the room.
The rhythm moves with the bodies present. And the body remembers.
Meet Your Guide
Bobi Lott is an Ethnochoreologist β a dancer, educator, anthropologist, choreographer, researcher, and genealogist whose work lives at the intersection of movement, culture, and somatic healing.
Her lineage runs through Katherine Dunham and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, pioneers who understood that breath, rhythm, and the living body hold knowledge that words cannot reach.
When you move with Bobi, you are not learning choreography. You are learning to listen.
To the rhythm of your breath.
To the wisdom of your body.
To the cellular intelligence that has been guiding you since before your first cry.
This is not a workout. This is not a performance.
This is a somatic movement experience designed to help you reconnect with your bodyβs natural rhythm.
During this session you will experience:
β’ Cellular Breathing β discovering the deeper rhythm your body has always known
β’ Somatic Movement β reconnecting with the living, sensing body
β’ Movement Quality & Body Awareness β moving through presence rather than performance
β’ Joyful Liberation β allowing movement to become expression rather than obligation
There is no choreography to follow. No right or wrong way to move. Only your way.
