About this Event

Life can be joyous when you are with people like you- spiritual and seekers of peace and higher purpose in life.

So join the New Year's Eve meditation session to learn and practice meditation, and also unwind with some socialization towards the end of the session with fellow meditation practitioners and learners.

You can join up to 15 minutes before the start of the event if you have some queries or would like some one-to-one help before the meditation session starts.

Why have a WhatsApp group?

Sahaja Yoga is a social meditation, and bonding with others like you keeps you motivated on your spiritual and wellness journey. There is a lot of struggle and soul-searching before undertaking this journey. The desires and efforts of others like you help keep us motivated. We will have a little bit of interaction and socialising in the group, in addition to resource sharing and polls. We hope you don't mind. Will I be contacted?

We will send occasional emails. Please do look up your email, which you used to sign up. Also, a Google Calendar invite will come your way. The only reason we do that is that we get busy with things in life and forget about the event we signed up for, to enrich our lives.


Would you like one to one guided meditation before the New Year?

We have ongoing one-to-one or small group classes every Saturday at 9:45 AM ET, where we customize class based on your current state or need. There are various stages in meditation. Typical starting phase is looking for a break from turbulence and addiction to thinking. The culmination state is enjoying meditation and staying thoughtless, even when not meditating and enjoying that state. In this session, we also love to socialize and interact with like-minded folks with non-material pursuits. This session is also always free.

What's Next?

We will have a free 21-day meditation course starting Saturday, 23rd January 2027. Daily 8:45 PM. You are welcome to join that. More details to be provided during the New Year's Eve meditation session and in the WhatsApp group

Every year, New Year comes and keeps coming. But, the spirit of observing the New Year, that people are not able to understand. Other than that, on the day of the New Year, new clothes will be worn, will be celebrating. No one will think in a way that the New Year is coming, what is the new thing that we will do. The way life is passing, it will continue in the same way and in the same vein everyone will be wished for the New Year. In Sahaja Yoga, when we are so collective, we need to think as to what new we need to do in Sahaja Yoga. You have entered quite deep into meditation. You understand meditation and you have established your state. But in the New Year, what is the new thing we should do, our attention needs to be on that. In reality, first we also need to think that what are the questions affecting our nation and what are the questions of the entire world and how do we bring solutions to those problems
