Cacao & Sound Bath in the Park

Hosted by Awaken with Ania

Come unwind after work with a sound bath and cacao ceremony at Sloan’s Lake.

Join us in the park and sit in community for an evening of connection, presence, and intentional slowing down.

We’ll open the space with gentle breathwork, grounding, and intention setting. From there, ceremonial cacao will be served, followed by guided journaling and a deeply immersive sound bath journey.

Cacao is a gentle, heart-opening plant medicine that has been used in ritual and ceremony for generations. Often experienced as a medicine of connection, cacao can help soften the noise of the mind, open space in the emotional body, and bring you into a more grounded, present state.

The sound bath is a restorative, meditative experience where you simply lie back and receive. Using crystal bowls and other instruments, the vibrations and frequencies support the nervous system, invite deep relaxation, and often create a sense of mental and emotional reset.

This space is guided with care, respect for the medicines and their traditions, and a deep commitment to ethical facilitation.

Come as you are, this is a space to land, to soften, and to reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled.

What to bring:

  • A mug for cacao
  • A yoga mat or something comfortable to lay on
  • Journal + pen
  • Pillow and/or blanket for extra comfort
  • Layers (it can get chilly as the sun goes down)
