The Soul & The Scientific Method (Free Event)
Hosted by Meaningful Conversations Austin
Has spirituality been given a bad rap? What are we losing when we lack a practical approach to organizing our inner lives?
Rather than seeing spirituality and science as entirely separate realms, are there lessons from each that could be applied to one another? Are there scientific principles that could be applied to our spiritual explorations? Where do scientific ethics come from, and how do we agree on them? How might a foundation for questioning and discovery affect how we explore spiritual questions and seek truth?
Come join a different kind of conversation – one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the truths that unite us all – as we discuss the spiritual perspective offered by the Bahá’í Teachings on the relationship between science and spirituality. Join us for a lively discussion as we explore how applying a “practical” approach to our spirituality can actually help further our growth as individuals and collectively.
“Religion and Science are inter-twined with each other and cannot be separated. These are the two wings with which humanity must fly. One wing is not enough.” – Bahá’í Teachings
