Hosted by Flow Yoga - South Congress
Acceptance is often misunderstood as resignation. In practice, it can be something much more powerful: learning to meet this moment, ourselves, and our lives with less resistance and greater compassion.
This workshop offers a quiet space to explore acceptance as an embodied practiceβnot as forcing ourselves to be okay with everything, but as creating room for what is already here. We are not using yoga to escape difficult experiences; we are using embodied practice to increase our capacity to be with ourselves inside them.
Through gentle movement, breathwork, reflective journaling, and restorative yoga, we will explore what it feels like to soften around the places where we may be holding, striving, resisting, or wishing things were different.
We will close with deeply restful restorative postures designed to support integration and nervous system settling.
This workshop is for anyone navigating change, uncertainty, transition, disappointment, or simply wanting to cultivate a more compassionate relationship with themselves and their present experience. No previous yoga or meditation experience is needed.
Sliding-scale pricing.
