Pease Park Cleanup- Environmentalism in Action

Hi! My name is Allyson and I am an RYT-500 Yoga Teacher and Environmental Advocate. I am looking to create space for individuals to practice building their relationship with the Earth.

As an environmentalist, I know firsthand how draining it can be to care about the protecting the Earth. With all the negative news, it can feel overwhelming and like our individual impact doesn't matter. It can be very easy to slip into burnout. With this event our intention is to build more intentional, personal relationships with the land. This way, we can hopefully continue to show up for ourselves and our communities without burning out.

Are you interested in practing Seva Yoga? Do you want to take your mindfulness into action? Maybe you're an environmentalist that is feeling overwhelmed/anxious? Come bring your yoga/mindfulness/environmentalism into action through our community park cleanup! Anyone who would like to give back to the Earth is welcome. Snacks are provided!

This event directly follows our Yoga at Pease Park event (linked here). Participants are welcome to come to one or both events. We hope to see you soon!

PROVIDED:

Trash bags, gloves, water, and snacks provided for park cleanup participants.

JULY 7th EVENT TIMES:

6-6:45pm- Community Yoga

7-8pm- Park Cleanup
