Nizami Qawwali – An Afternoon of Traditional Sufi Music

Hosted by Nizami Qawwali

Experience the power of traditional Sufi Qawwali in an intimate recital hall setting.

Nizami Qawwali presents an afternoon of traditional Sufi devotional music in an intimate recital hall setting.

Rooted in centuries-old South Asian tradition, Qawwali is a powerful form of musical expression that blends poetry, rhythm, call-and-response, and improvisation. Led by Ustad Ghulam Farid Nizami, the ensemble brings this vibrant tradition to life through harmonium, percussion, and soaring vocals.

Expect a dynamic arc of music that begins reflectively and builds toward ecstatic intensity, honoring both the spiritual depth and celebratory spirit of the tradition.

Join us for a memorable afternoon of poetry, devotion, and shared musical experience.

We will also be celebrating the release of our debut album, Rooh – The Soul of Qawwali, arriving on all major streaming platforms this April.
