Suminagashi, translated as "floating ink", is an ancient Japanese art form where ink is applied to the surface of water, manipulated to create beautiful patterns, and then transferred to a sheet of paper. During this workshop, Leah will help you to create at least four one-of-a-kind suminagashi art pieces.
After learning a number of different marbling techniques, you'll be free to sink into the relaxing flow of marbling.
This art form is a beautiful exercise in letting go of expectations and sinking into the present moment. Beginners welcome, all supplies included!
