Hosted by Will Taylor
Concerts in the Dark invites you to join us for a Blue Full Moon Music & Hypnosis experience at Casa de Luz Austin.
At Concerts in the Dark, we believe that live acoustic music performed in a quiet space — free from distraction — can be a journey for the soul to awaken and heal.
What would it be like to go on that journey with the guidance of a certified hypnotherapist?
With that question in mind, we've created something entirely new: an experience that weaves the two together.
THIS EVENT IS PART TWO:
The Love Garden PART 2 is an immersive, candlelit Concerts in the Dark experience blending live string music, guided hypnosis, and deep listening—inviting you into a state where time softens, the thinking mind quiets, and something older begins to speak.
There will be two sessions which can be taken separately at a discount, or individually.
In darkness, you will be gently guided into a relaxed, inward-focused state by Samantha Marvels, a Certified Hypnotherapist whose approach is grounded, supportive, and deeply respectful of personal boundaries.
Many people have powerful rememberings from various timelines, and then are left asking, “now what?” That’s what the integration session is for.
The integration journey will take you to your love garden; a comforting space in your inner subconscious filled with your special attributes represented by elements you’d find in a garden. There, you will get to know your higher wisdom, and also integrate the gifts, talents, or abilities you discovered in your remembering.
The journey will be supported by live, original string music performed by award-winning Austin musicians violinist, guitarist, composer Will Taylor and cellist Tony Rogers.
This is not stage hypnosis.
You remain fully aware and in control at all times.
You may engage deeply, lightly, or simply listen and rest.
Though the journey is deeply personal, it unfolds within a quiet group container—held in collective presence, never analyzed, never shared, and always self-directed.
What to expect:
Come curious.
Come open.
Come exactly as you are.
For over 35 years, thousands of discerning experience-seekers have stepped into the imaginative world of Will Taylor, delighting in performances that blur boundaries, awaken the senses, and reveal music in unforgettable, unexpected ways.

A note on the Blue Moon
May 31st carries its own magic.
A Blue Moon — the second full moon within a single calendar month — is rare enough that we've inherited the phrase "once in a blue moon" to describe things that almost never happen. Tonight, that rarity is the point. The particular convergence of this music, these musicians, this room, and this moon will not occur again. The full moon has long been understood as a time of illumination and release — when what has been quietly growing beneath the surface rises to meet the light. To gather in community under a Blue Moon, to listen deeply and feel deeply, is to participate in something genuinely uncommon. We are glad you're here for it.
Samantha Marvels is an IBH Certified Hypnotherapist and Tantric Coach who helps ambitious babes build safety in their bodies so they can hold more; more pleasure, more joy, more abundance.
Without endless processing, she guides her co-therapist (you) into hypnosis to identify the blocks, patterns, and beliefs no longer serving your purpose. By reprogramming the mind to align with current desires, you can then live in a reality aligned to your highest & best.
The goal? Create subconscious beliefs that support you so you can live from a place of safety & expansion.
Will Taylor is a violinist, composer, and musical dream-weaver who’s been threading strings through the Austin music scene for over two decades. He’s shared stages (and musical magic) with Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., Shawn Colvin, Shiny Ribs, Guy Forsyth, and even the legendary Turtle Island String Quartet at Town Hall in New York City — just to name a few stops on his sonic journey.
Beyond the stage, Will is a devoted lover of the outdoors and the alchemy that happens when live music meets nature. Whether under oak trees, inside candle-lit rooms, or beneath a Texas full moon, his mission is simple: bring people together for life-shifting moments of connection, stillness, and sound.
A concert presenter for over 30 years, Will produced a legendary 2006 performance of The Beatles’ White Album, drawing over 1,600 fans across two shows and capturing the moment for broadcast radio. He’s a two-time Austin Music Award winner, a Best of Austin finalist in 2022, and a 2024 winner — proof that the magic still resonates.
He’s also an award-winning film composer for the thriller Protocol 7, extending his sound world from stage lights to the silver screen.
Tony is a cellist, educator, performer, arranger and composer.
He performs regularly with The Austin Piazzolla Quintet, The Waterloo Trio, Jenifer Jackson, the multi-genre group Strings Attached, performs weddings on weekends, and onstage with symphonies, playing 70 public performances per year, teaches a few hundred lessons and directs the Austin Cello Choir every week on Tuesday evenings for cellists of all levels. In his spare time he organizes chamber reading sessions.
More audience testimonials for Will Taylor
"Wow, we are so grateful to you for such an incredible evening. George and I were so high from the creative energy and the almost other-worldly sense of collaboration. What a divine life you have to be able to participate in such moments of group creativity. It made me jealous that my work world is so isolated. Ah well, it was just heavenly to be part of the experience. We can't wait for the next Strings Attached concert."
Sarah Bird, award winning author
"Once again, very magical and heart felt music, we can feel it when it comes from your hearts, because like tuning, it strikes our chords as well and moves us." - Dan
"The ensemble is fantastic. Each player is very gifted and adds to the whole. No one dominates or over plays. You are the best group I've heard in Austin in a long while." - Becky M.
