Ecstatic Dance at The Castro Room

Join us for a monthly ecstatic dance gathering at The Castro Room, formerly Yoga Tree Castro. This event invites you to make connections with others and yourself while enjoying a safe place in freedom of expression and divine movement.

Three Core Guidelines

• Dance barefoot — socks are permitted, and shoes may be worn for medical conditions. Connect with the ground beneath you.
• Dance without words — this is a silent, meditative experience with no verbal instruction or talking on the dance floor.
• Dance as you are — no drugs or alcohol, no phones, no cameras, no scents, no expectations, no judgments. Just you and the music.

Public transportation and biking are encouraged. Street parking is available in the Castro neighborhood.

Monthly on the third Saturday of each month. Come move, connect, and release on the dance floor with DJ Gabriel Francisco spinning an eclectic mix of world beats, electronic, and downtempo grooves.
