Venue History: Steeped in history, Peña Pachamama, housed in a landmark location since 1918, was once one of San Francisco’s premier speakeasies and later the famous Amelio’s, where icons like Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe celebrated their wedding dinner. Frequented by luminaries such as the Kennedys, Dean Martin, Gary Cooper, Rocky Marciano, Babe Ruth, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard were frequent guests.
