About Event

Monthly Reiki Meditation Facilitated by the NYC POC Healing Circle

Healing Your Multitudes: Reiki meditation to connect with your inner child, difficult emotions, and past life/self with Jennelle Ramdeen

The first Wednesday of each month (with the exception of March), the NYC POC Healing Circle will be facilitating monthly reiki meditations at CTHQ. In February, join Jennelle Ramdeen to explore how reiki can transcend time and space. We will meet ourselves in many planes to offer healing to care for the you of today, tomorrow, and yesteryear. Sessions will include sound like music or instruments and have invitations to hum and express sounds. We will use our bodies as a compass and reiki as a gentle tool to transform what we find. Sessions will have space to journal and share.

The NYC People of Color Healing Circle is a collective of queer and transgender community healing practitioners who provide care to BIPOC communities, particularly to activists, to sustain our movements for social change. All practitioners are certified reiki practitioners at the highest level. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Many in the circle combine their reiki practice with cultural land, sound, and movement practices. Healing renews us to practice the liberated reality we all deserve.
