Kirtan is a sweet meditative practice of chanting mantras and divine names. Join your voice with the group as we together experience the healing power of bhakti yoga, the yoga of love and devotion.

✷ No experience is necessary. Kirtan is perfect for first-timers because of its call-and-response format: the leader sings a simple phrase, then the group responds by singing the same phrase back.

✷ Suggested donation $10-20 (no one turned away for lack of funds)

✷ This event occurs monthly on the 1st Saturday of each month. Doors open at 7:15pm

Mantra Mandala is a kirtan band based in Asheville, North Carolina. The band was formed in 2023 by a group of friends drawn together by a love of sacred chanting, yoga, and community building.

The band's name, Mantra Mandala, represents the intention behind their music. Mantra and mandala are both meditation tools. Mantra is the repetition of sacred sounds. Mandala is a geometric design that represents the wholeness of the Self. The band's music is like a mandala formed of mantras, transporting listeners into the state of connectedness that is yoga.
