Hosted by Black Swan Yoga Austin
A Community Yoga Fundraiser for Pease Park
Yoga for Pease is a large-scale, donation-based community yoga event benefiting Pease Park, one of Austin’s most beloved public green spaces.
Join us on Sunday, March 1 from 10:00am–2:00pm for an afternoon of movement, connection, and giving back. This event brings together leading local yoga studios, instructors, wellness vendors, and community members for accessible, all-levels yoga in the park. Each attendee will also receive a free week of yoga at each participating studio!
Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy 30-minute yoga classes taught by the following studios:
Donations over $30 will also receive an email coupon to save 20% off LSKD, and be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
In addition to yoga programming, the event will feature a curated vendor village highlighting local wellness brands, community resources, and small businesses.
Whether you’re coming to move, connect, explore local vendors, or simply spend time in community, Yoga for Pease is an opportunity to practice together while supporting a space that gives so much to Austin.
Bring your mat, invite a friend, and join us for a meaningful day of movement, community, and stewardship of our shared green spaces.
About Pease Park Conservancy and What Your Donation Supports
Pease Park Conservancy works in partnership with the City of Austin to set the standard for world-class park management – emphasizing environmental excellence – to improve and care for this treasured green space for the enjoyment of all. The City of Austin continues to own the land, but the Conservancy has primary responsibility for Kingsbury Commons.
Our Park Operations and Maintenance Agreement (POMA) was signed in January of 2023, formalizing shared responsibilities for Operations, Maintenance, and Programming of Pease Park between the Conservancy and the City of Austin.
The POMA allows Pease Park Conservancy to bridge the gap between public funding and the highest levels of park management. The Conservancy leverages your philanthropic dollars to cover the costs of improving, operating, and maintaining historic Kingsbury Commons. 98% of our operating budget comes from friends like you!
